Keira Knightley might be better known as Elizabeth Swann in the Pirates of the Caribbean trilogy. She has been spotted leaving a plastic surgeons office. When reporters asked her why she had been there she replied, ” Okay! I had it done. I had a larger top lip done.” Keira included, ” The reason I was there was to treat my acne. I am only human as you can see–I am a normal girl.” So, she went in to get rid of acne and came out with a bigger lip.
Later, Keira denied ever having any work done to her lips, at all. She states, ” I haven’t had my lips done. Can I just say that I haven’t? It’s the idea people believe it! I’ve had friends phone me up and I’ve told them ‘Get lost! Of course, I haven’t!” So, first she tells us that she did. Then, she tells us that she did not. It is nothing to be ashamed about. Maybe she just wants it to be a well-kept secret.
Rumors have escalated about Keira’s nose, also. Some believe that she had a nose job before making it big in the business. It does seem as though she may have had it shaved a little bit. Either way, she is still a dashing beauty. She needed no work done to begin with, and does not need it now. With or without the work, she is a very pretty young lady.
If Keira was unsatisfied with her features and wanted to touch them up some, it should be more than okay. It is her body, her money, and her business. Right? Nobody is qualified to judge her life choices. She is still as beautiful as ever. Let her live her own life. She is not bothering anyone.

What to do after pregnancy if your suffering from loss of confidence
Comments off · Posted by samon in Cosmetic Surgery
Have you considered getting breast implants but are also thinking about have a baby? You might want to consider having a baby first. As women, our bodies go through a number of changes and one of those changes actually happens to our breasts.
During pregnancy, a woman’s breasts go through huge amounts of changes. Many women have found that their breasts actually become more sensitive and begin to swell. In many cases, the swelling remains after giving birth. Some women have reported that after they gave birth to their children, their breasts grew 1 to 2 sizes. With this significant of a change, many women are quite happy with their breasts.
If after you have given birth and you are still unhappy with the look of your breasts, breast augmentation surgery can still be considered. However, it is a good idea to discuss with the surgeon the different ways the breast implants are inserted. Be sure you understand and ask about the possibility of having additional children and what this may do to your breasts. Be sure to ask about significant changes that may occur to your breasts when you do get pregnant with another child, or what will happen after the birth of another child. It is always a good idea to have all the facts and know what could happen with your body before you have any type of procedure done.
If you are still uncertain, be sure to do as much research as you can, there is a lot of information that can be found and provided by other women who have gone through breast augmentation. Remember though, their experiences don’t always mean that you will go through the same things. You may experience different things. But, in some cases you will find many things to be quite similar.
‘If you do that one more time, you’re fired!’ Perhaps you may have had to deal with this threat on more than one occasion. You may have felt that one day your boss’ threat may one day be more than just idle talk. This is a problem that some employees have had to deal with for years. As one can imagine, it can cause them deep distress, experiencing sleepless nights, headaches, heart palpitations, breaking out it in cold sweats as a result of panic attacks or maybe even something worse.
Being harassed with being fired any time soon nearly every day is no laughing matter. It may seem funny in comedy films, but when it happens in real life, it’s very, very serious indeed.
Many employers often use this form of workplace bullying to scare their employees into doing faster, quality work for them, not like honest and upright employers, who don’t use fear and bullying tactics to produce better results from their subordinates.
Contrary to popular misconception, employees don’t have to take such abuse from their superiors. Employees have basic human rights, the right to be treated with dignity and respect, the right to be able able to work in an environment that is safe and free from any type of endangerment-including harassment, especially the constant morbid fear of being fired by a bully at work.
Employees, exercise those rights! The next time your boss threatens you, you can threaten him, in effect with the loss of his job. You can in effect say to them, ‘if you threaten me one more time, I’m going to report you to your boss!’ So don’t sit around being a human verbal dart board, for your boss to constantly ’sting’ you with scathing threats of being fired. Exercise your company rights!
The reason why Botox has gotten so popular, according to many articles I read on the subject while I was taking my Botox course, is that it is a non-invasive procedure. This also means that the procedure, unlike cosmetic surgery, is effective without being as painful. That is to say that the amount of incisions and sutures, inflammations, to name a few hindrances are greatly reduced if not completely. For one, when I decided to get Botox training I knew I would never have to be literally cutting people open. Sorry to use such a gruesome term, but I’m no surgeon and I have no business doing anything remotely similar to surgery.
So my dermal filler training course properly readied me for administering the prescribed Botox without having to do more than to give an injection. What this means is that the pain resulting from the procedure is significantly less than that involved in cosmetic surgery. That ultimately means that the healing time and all the inconveniences it presents are also none existent. My Botox training course prepared me for delivering an inexpensive way to younger looking skin, which can take only 10 minutes to do. That means I can see more patients in one day and give them results immediately, that very same day. If it weren’t for my ability to do this, I really wouldn’t be interested in ever administering it because my background isn’t dermatology. It’s just that people are relieved to find that the complications from Botox are far less than from a surgery.
They also seem to really love the fact that it is the lowest maintenance of the two choices. It seems that in getting Botox done, clients are far happier than they are scared for their well being. That’s not to say that there aren’t complications with Botox, there are, but in my opinion it is way safer than the alternative. This procedure is only going to get more popular. Dermatologists are already claiming that it is one of the top 5 reasons clients book appointment with them. Thankfully it is a safe and quick procedure that can improve the lives of the people who receive this treatment. Click here for further information on botox courses

Can hair transplants be from one donor to another?
Comments off · Posted by samon in Hair Transplant
Even with today’s advanced technology a hair transplant surgery it can only be done by taking skin grafts from the back and the sides of persons scalp and using it in the exact same person. Doctors believe that is not possible for hair to be donated and translated from person to another person. The only way for this to happen would be for them to take anti-rejection medications for the rest of their life. Obviously not many people are going to want to do this so it is not a viable solution. And the risk to of themselves of taking this type medicine is way too risky for a surgery that is not for a life-threatening reason. This is not to say that the research will not come about sometime in the future, as scientists are actively searching for a way to be able to transplant hair follicles from one person to another.
For now a person will have to be content with taking hair from the back of their own scalp and sides. Hopefully if they do need this procedure it is something that can be done. If a person doesn’t have enough hair or ifir the scalp is to tight then hair restoration surgery is not going to be an option that can be used for them. Doctors need to be able to take viable hair follicles from a part of persons body and obviously having these hair follicles in the first place is imperative. Additionally, if a person does happen to have these follicles the next step is to make sure that the doctor can harvest them from the scalp and someone with an extremely tight scalp will not be a candidate. It is too difficult for doctors to take the skin graft from a tight scalp. Again if the doctor is going to have a problem with being able to suture the area after he takes the donor grafts, the surgery is not going to get done. It is not going to be worth it for any doctor. to take a chance on a patient having an open wound or a risk of serious infection for surgery to give them fuller hair. Obviously it is only warrant to have a surgery with any serious amount of risk only if it was life threatening reason.

Pain caused in the tooth by wisdom tooth or gums diseases has been linked or related with lot of other problems that a person could get but not many people know that earache is one of the problems that are closely linked to toothache. The following are some of the key facts relating to toothache and earache:
1. There are lots of people who do not believe in the connection between toothache and earache and they vehemently deny it.
2. The pain caused due to toothache and earache is so similar that the person going through the pain actually finds it difficult to determine whether the pain is in the ear or in the tooth.
3. An earache can be caused by any factor that causes a toothache. So it is important that one takes care of their tooth as there are chances of them getting affected by two things at a single time.
4. It is important that the affected person meets the doctor to get a permanent cure for this problem. Home remedies would not really come in very handy in this problem and if not done the right way, then there are chances of the problem getting aggravated.
5. If the doctor or the dentist is not met quickly then there are chances of the toothache earache getting really very serious and also spreading to some other parts of the face.
6. The toothache earache has lot to do with the person’s family and the history of the family members having such problems. So do not be surprised if the doctor asks questions about your family.
There are constantly catalogue coming through my door tempting me to buy new and innovative items which are very expensive but are, according to the blurb, invaluable. They look great, so we order them. Pay for them, receive them, and put them in the drawer that is commonly referred to as the gadget graveyard.
For the kitchen we have the wonderful pasta drainer, guaranteed to remove all the water from your spaghetti et al, and only costing a tenner. Hmm, what happened to the good old sieve? Still, this is nice and bright and shiny so it MUST be good! Or that super spray which removes fake tan stains from collars, now I always thought that if you went to the bother of fake tan you would be wearing as little as possible to show it off, but maybe I’m wrong…
There are pages of stuff for the bathroom, all making you feel as if you can’t live without them. Yes, the magnetic toothbrush holder is very attractive, until you get it and realise your walls are all tiled, your cabinet is plastic and you haven’t got a single metallic surface in there! What about those little gizmos that let you extract the last bit of toothpaste from the tube, why? If you are that much of a scrooge that you object to throwing away 5p worth, then get on with it. One of the most useless must be the mouthwash dispenser. The blurb states that you get the right amount every time, this isn’t medication, you can’t overdose and as you don’t even swallow it what is the point!
Don’t be suckered in by this rubbish, you’ve managed perfectly well without them so far, so why start wasting your money now?
There are several types of Dental specialists and specialist areas. Periodontics, Geriatric dentistry, Orthodontics, cosmetic Dentists and oral surgeons. In order to have specialist status the practitioner, like those dentists in Kent, will have completed at least two extra years in training. A consultation with your regular dentist is sometimes a good option to determine what type of specialist you need to see to get the most suitable treatments.
Specific Specialities
Endodontic is a type of specialist dentist who is skilled at treating nerves and blood vessels inside the teeth. An Endodontic carries out procedures such as the removal of a root when multiple roots have grown for one tooth. In some cases the Endodontic is required to cut the tip of a root or remove dead tissue from the root. This is commonly recognised as root canal treatment. Oral surgeons are responsible for removing tumours in the mouth throat and neck as well as extracting teeth. Orthodontics are responsible for straightening teeth whilst Paedodontists are solely committed of carrying out a variety of treatments for children. A prosthodontist specialises in repairing broken and missing teeth.
There is a specialist for just about every aspect of dentistry and some of the treatments overlap into duties of different types of specialists.

Smile makeovers; the new age of smiles is upon us
Comments off · Posted by samon in Dental Care
A smile makeover is just the thing to boost our morale and give us more confidence. They used to cost a small fortune, but these days the industry is awash with new methods of whitening and straightening our teeth at a much cheaper rate. Tooth whitening is now available through beauty salons and is performed by trained technicians, rather than a dentist. You need to make an appointment and see the technician first for an inspection, if your gums are good, then you will have the treatment in around an hour, some even make home visits. They start with a gum shield which is made of soft rubber, this is placed in the mouth to keep the teeth exposed and protect the gums, lips and tongue from getting damaged. A gel is brushed onto the teeth and a blue intense light source is focused on the gel, this reacts and makes the enamel run to re-colour the teeth white again. You will need to have 3 x 15 minute sessions in the hour to complete the treatment. It will leave you with a slightly set of sensitive teeth for a few days, but it isn`t painful. Then you will need to follow a strict diet to ensure that you don`t discolour your new white teeth again. You can get a top up when you need it, but it should last a year at least. Another way that is much more permanent is the new Lumineer, this is a veneer that fits over the front of your teeth, and they can be used to disguise discoloured, wonky, cracked and chipped teeth and are a true smile makeover because they will also close gaps in between teeth. They come in a much thinner version to tradition veneers, so they don`t need to have any enamel shaved off before fitting, all they will need at worse is a roughening of the tooth front to ensure a good adhesion. They are tough as well and will last you a good 20 years or so, they are becoming most popular of late as more people seek an economical method of getting a permanent set of white, straight teeth. They are a great morale and confidence booster as well as looking good, we all wants a movie star smile and either of these two methods is great for achieving that. Your dentist will be able to give you more advice on veneers.
