Efficiency of Solar Panel

There is a bad news for the people who are using the solar system in the form of solar panels that the efficiency of the solar panel is just 20%. It means that the photovoltaic solar panels are capable of converting only 20% of the solar radiations into electricity. This negative side of the solar panels is also applicable even with the newly designed silicon solar panels. They are able to operate at 40% efficiency level. But now days, scientists are trying to design silicon solar panels with more improved technologies and advancements which are less expensive and can operate with 80% efficiency level. Some scientists and researchers have developed the solar panels with silicon cells which can operate with 40% efficiency level and are less expensive.
